Feuriger Tatzlwurm Berghotel & Spa, BW Signature Collection

Fantastic location, spectacular snowy mountain views, gorgeous outdoor terraces and cosy indoor settings in Bavarian tradition. Lots to do (hiking, sight-seeing) if you are ever tired of wellness and beauty treatments. We had two lovely big bedrooms next to each other with a huge connecting balcony. Excellent breakfast bar with everything you could want including vegan and vegetarian options. Swimming pool, saunas, white sandy indoor beach -- all fantastic and very relaxing.

I'm so pleased we stayed here, on a long road trip between the UK and Croatia this was just what we needed. We were travelling with a dog, and there are abundant walks from right outside the door. The hotel is beautiful, a collection of 3 large buildings connected with an underground passageway, and the facilities are exceptional. Bedroom was spacious and immaculate, we had the best nights sleep, dinner was excellent, breakfast was every bit as good. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Dont be fooled by the typically traditional exterior, whilst the restaurant fits expectations, so many other parts of the hotel have been beautifully finished, and there are wow moments around every corner. I simply couldn't fault it. We would have loved to have stayed an extra night but time was pressing. Next time we definitely will. This is the sort of place to escape to, to be at one with nature (you have to find the natural pool in the river under the waterfall) to simply kick back and relax.

Great place for relax. Nice spa with warm swimming pool, 5 saunas and warm whirlpool. Relax area with the view to waterfall and another with the beach sand. Hiking and mtb directly from hotel. Lake next to the hotel is very clean and suitable for swimming (but quite cold) Tasty food in the restaurant

Lovely surroundings, in the middle of the nature. You open the window of the room and you hear only some birds or a stream of water. The pool and spa area are great and fairly big. The room was spacious, quiet and well equipped.

What an awesome view! Very friendly staff and a lovely room I had a great time. The thunderstorm was especially exciting!
